Localbanya launches Instabanya, a 120-minute delivery service in Hyderabad

The service will be offered for free for all orders above Rs. 500, while Rs. 49 will be charged for orders below 500.

Online grocer Localbanya.com has launched Instabanya - a service, in its pilot phase, which will deliver orders to the consumer's doorstep in 120 minutes. The service is operational currently in Hyderabad. The company delivers grocery products across four cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad. Recently, the company had also undergone a re-branding exercise where in, it unveiled a new logo and mascot this year since its inception in 2015.

The Instabanya service will be offered for free for all orders above Rs. 500, while a fee of Rs. 49 will be charged for orders below 500. For the first time, the company will allow customers to order groceries costing less than Rs. 500 at a time.

Localbanya.com's co-founder, Rashi Choudhary, says, "In our quest to innovate and best service our customers, we are delighted to announce Instabanya. The company forayed in to three new markets in 2015 and claims to have a user base of over 1 lakh registered users. The company began its operations in the year 2012 and offers grocery products, fruits and vegetables, confectionery items, condiments and sauces, and dairy products in its portfolio.
