Amazon Prime Video partners with Ultra Media and Entertainment

The deal gives Amazon access to 300 of the film company's popular Indian movie titles.

Amazon Prime Video which recently launched its on-demand video streaming service in India, has partnered with Ultra Media and Entertainment as one of their content providers for Bollywood films. Ultra will provide over 300 original Bollywood films including recent movies like Namastey London, the evergreen comedy Andaz Apna Apna, Raja Babu, Singh is King and Ankhen.

This deal also includes popular names like Himmatwala, Mann, Damini, I am Kalam, Chori Chori, Gumnaam, Half Ticket, and as well as older titles like Anarkali, Nagin and films from Gemini and AVM Studios.

Ultra's portfolio also includes content acquisition and distribution of various Indianand international films, television programs, animation and other content in various genres and languages worldwide. The company currently has a library consisting of over 1500 titles and is associated with some global production studios too.

Ultra Media also specialises in distributing content in India and overseas markets.
