Sankara Narayanan joins Matrimony.com as COO

Matrimony.com, the online matchmaking and marriage services, recently announced the appointment of Sankara Narayanan as chief operating officer to spearhead the matchmaking business of the company.

Narayanan has rich experience in general management, leadership, finance, technology and change management. A business leader, he brings over 30 years of rich and varied experience leading large teams across telecom and finance domains. Narayanan’s academic credentials include executive education from Stanford University, MBA from University of Manchester (UK) and Chartered Accountancy & Cost Accountancy from India. He earlier worked as national operations head at Aircel. Prior to that he worked as chief executive officer - Karnataka at Vodafone Essar. Before that, he was head of finance and commercial, of Ranbaxy Guangzhou China and head finance & commercial - West Africa at Ranbaxy Laboratories.
