TCL launches health awareness campaign

TCL India Holdings Pvt. Ltd., an emerging Consumer Electronics global major, as a part of their ongoing BTL activities today announced free health check-ups for its consumers across India. The heath checkups are a part of the health awareness activities TCL India has been undertaking. The health checkups will be undertaken at the TCL dealers across India. The health awareness campaign is just an extension of TCL’s commitment towards society. The health checkups are valid upto January 15, 2008

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Rathi, Vice–President, Sales, TCL India Holdings Pvt. Ltd. said, “TCL has always been concerned about the society and has never left a chance of contributing towards the well – being of the society. We started with launching Air Conditioners and Health TVs which were health friendly. To continue our efforts of contributing towards the wellbeing of the society we have started our Health awareness campaign”.

The Health Awareness Campaign includes BP check-ups, measuring weight, measuring height, general health tips etc. The checkups are available at all TCL retail shops.

To add to TCL’s promotional and marketing activities, the company recently declared their new brand strategy – “The Creative Life”. Also as a part of TCL’s global expansion plans, TCL entered the Indian market by establishing a 100% subsidiary, TCL India Holdings Pvt. Ltd., in September 2004. It started with the manufacturing of Color Televisions followed by Air Conditioners, Washing Machines and Small Home Appliances. India, being one of the fastest growing economies in the world is the most strategic market in TCL’s global expansion plans.
