CID, the detective series on Sony, has recently entered the Limca Book of Records for its record-breaking single shot episode. The record-breaking episode of CID will be telecast on November 7, 2004 at 8:00 pm.

By and large, any one-hour episode consists of over 200 shots of 30-40 seconds each. However, this special CID episode was shot in one single take with no cuts at all. The episoide has been shot continuously on a digital video format for a duration of 111 minutes.
Now, the series is attempting to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for its unique feat.
