DB Corp Limited (DBCL), India's largest print media company and home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Dainik Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar today announced the commencement of Divya Bhaskar Utsav to celebrate its 14th anniversary in Gujarat.

Dainik Bhaskar Group has been synonymous with excellence in execution led by a determined spirit to carve out its own unconventional path, often disruptive. Divya Bhaskar's launch in Gujarat in 2003 was led by the same philosophy -- a truly historic moment for the group, as it forayed into a non-Hindi domain for the first time and launched 'Divya Bhaskar' in Gujrati. Soon Divya Bhaskar became a household name and the No. 1 newspaper in the state of Gujarat delighting readers with objective, knowledge-driven and diverse content for all age groups.

Divya Bhaskar Utsav is set to be a grand ten day celebration in Ahmedabad with star-studded events brought by the who's who of entertainment, business & finance, music, poetry, celebrity chefs. The events planned will cover discussions with Baba Ramdev, chat show with Shahrukh Khan and Boman Irani, laughter riot performances by Kumar Vishwas, Surendra Sharma, daily interactions with Bollywood personalities Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjeev Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and a high-power musical evening with Kailash Kher. A very large scale, high-decibel marketing campaign across print and social media is supporting the magnificent event throughout ten days.

Commenting on Divya Bhaskar Utsav, Mr Girirsh Agrawaal, Promoter-Director, DB Corp said, "Gujarat is not only a region of strategic importance for us but also holds a very significant position in the corporate milestone of Dainik Bhaskar's journey. In 2003 we started our expansion endeavours from Gujarat through the launch of a non-Hindi newspaper and today we have established a leadership position. It's truly gratifying to witness the strong bonds we have built with our readers and I take the opportunity to thank them, all our associates, and staff who have made this tremendous journey a great success."
