Marathe will report to N Padmakumar, national creative director, Rediffusion-Y&R.
Dilip Marathe has been roped in as creative head -- art, at Rediffusion-Y&R. Marathe moves in from Publicis Ambience. He will be based in Mumbai and report to N Padmakumar, national creative director, Rediffusion-Y&R.
Recently, Manish Ajgaonkar was roped in as executive creative director; Parag Shahane was appointed as creative head -- art, at the agency.

Having more than 18 years of experience in the advertising industry, Marathe started his career with Dacunha Communications. Subsequently, he moved to Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey) and later, to McCann Erickson. Rediffusion-Y&R followed immediately thereafter, where he spent about 14 years, before joining Percept/H, and finally shifting to Publicis Ambience.
In his long career, Marathe has worked on various brands such as Airtel, Maruti Udyog, Citibank India, Eveready, Rediff.com, BPL, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Motors, Onida, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Servo, Air India, Colgate-Palmolive, Zee TV, DNA, Singapore Tourism, Sahara Group, Canon, Pantaloons, Force India, SBI Mutual Funds, Bajaj Allianz, Yardley, LG, Videocon d2h, Procter & Gamble, Nerolac Paints, and Parx.
