McCann has been declared the No. 1 creative agency in India in the Gunn Report 2014, second year in a row. The Interpublic Group has a total score of 13 points with a score break-up showing 10 points in the Print category and three in the AGB (All Gunns Blazing) category. The agency has no points in Digital and Film.
J. Walter Thompson (JWT) has moved a spot up from the last year, to become the second most creative agency in India. The agency has a total score of eight points with a score break-up showing five points in Film category, two in Digital and one in the AGB category. The agency has no points in Print.
Grey Worldwide and Bengaluru-based Happy Creative Services share the fifth spot with a score of three points each. While Grey scored three points in Print, Happy scored three points in the Film category.
India's global ranking based on the advertisement market size is 18. In terms of creative ranking, India has slipped from the ninth position last year to 14th, as per the Gunn Report 2014.
Founded by Donald Gunn, The Gunn Report combines the winners' lists from all of the world's most important award contests (global, regional as well as national), to establish what it calls 'annual worldwide league tables' for the advertising industry.
