TAM AdEx: Rise in ad volumes on radio by online shopping sites

Radio advertising for B2C and Online Shopping Internet Services surged by almost nine times during Q3, 2014 compared to Q3, 2013.

TAM AdEx has released an overview of the advertising ad volume on different platforms by the Internet Service Advertising sector, between July and September 2014.

The report focusses on advertising carried out by the sector on television, print and radio.

The entire analysis is based on ad volumes expressed in secondages/column centimeters. The figures should be taken only as indicative and not absolute.

As per the report, radio advertising for B2C and Online Shopping Internet Services surged by almost nine times during Q3, 2014 compared to Q3, 2013.

It also revealed that television dominated the ad volume pie with 70 per cent share. Of this, national channels commanded 72 per cent.

Cardekho.com, Fabfurnish.com and Karbonn Sparkle V (Snapdeal.com) were the top new brands on TV, radio and print, respectively.
