Domino’s Pizza continues to deliver humour

Domino’s Pizza will release a TVC featuring Arshad Warsi to promote its newly launched innovative pizza product

Domino’s Pizza has signed on Arshad Warsi as its brand ambassador. The actor will help Domino’s promote its newly launched offering Cheese Burst Pizza. For the launch of this new product, the company has earmarked a marketing budget of Rs 6 crore, which comprises TV advertising, below-the-line activities and local store marketing initiatives. The company will also run an advertising campaign created by Contract Advertising, featuring Warsi.

Says Ajay Kaul, chief executive officer - Indian subcontinent, Domino’s Pizza India Limited, “Arshad is a talented and a versatile actor and will provide a surge to Domino’s brand equity. Domino’s and Arshad have a lot in common. Arshad has a very likeable image. Similarly, Domino’s is about having fun at home with family and friends. This will help us in further strengthening our leadership position in the home delivery segment.”

On the launch of new Cheese Burst Pizza, Kaul further added, “We strive to create excitement and continue offering innovative products to our customers. Domino’s Cheese Burst Pizza is the result of such an effort. The Cheese Burst Pizza enhances the entire experience of the consumption with an explosion of liquid cheese in every bite. This will delight our large and growing base of customers.” Domino’s Cheese Burst Pizza will be priced at Rs160 onwards and will be available in medium (10") size, which serves two-three people.
