Vivek Nayyar, creative director, Publicis India, has been invited to judge the Print category awards for the New York Festivals (NYF) International Advertising Competition.
Nayyar has close to 14 years of experience in advertising. Last year, he had three finalist entries at the Global Awards and six finalists and a silver at the RX Club Awards. His finalist film at Cannes last year on the Cancer Patients Aid Association also featured in ‘The Work 2006’.
Ambba Kuthiala, senior vice-president, Publicis India, says, “Vivek’s film for the Cancer Patients Aid Association was short-listed at Cannes last year. His invitation to the jury is well deserved. I look forward to more Indians making it onto international jury panels.”
The print entries will be judged on a scale of 1-10. Scores of 1-2 denote a poorly conceived idea, 3-4 is below average, 5-6 is average, 7 is above average, 8 is superb but not exceptional, 9 is exceptional and 10 signifies out of this world.
