Commenting on the development, Nayyar says, “NYF is dedicated to searching out and rewarding the world’s best work. It is actually a grand opportunity for me to be on the jury for the awards function. It reinforces the fact that creative work and creative people from India are being recognised the world over.”

Ambba Kuthiala, senior vice-president, Publicis India, says, “Vivek’s film for the Cancer Patients Aid Association was short-listed at Cannes last year. His invitation to the jury is well deserved. I look forward to more Indians making it onto international jury panels.”
