The judging will begin soon and winners will be announced on April 16, 2007

Senthil Kumar, vice-president and executive creative director, JWT, Chennai, has been invited to judge the Annual Globe and Mail Awards, one of Canada’s prominent creative competitions. The competition invites entries only in the print medium and is open only to Canadian advertising agencies.

In 2006, Kumar was on the TV and Cinema jury of the New York Festivals. He remarks, “Although the festival will have entries only from Canada and not from anywhere else, it will be a good opportunity to examine the creative work there.”

Last year, Kumar won the Cannes Grand Prix (runner up) and a Campaign Gold Lion for Levi’s Slim Jeans. He has also won a host of other awards, such as the Young Guns Bullet, One Show Design Merits, D&AD Book Selections, Clio statues, Asia Pacific Adfest awards and New York Festivals world medals.
