Fever FM increases ad rates by 20 per cent

The FM channel has levied increased rates across all stations from February 1.

The FM channel Fever FM, has increased the ad rates on its platform by 20 per cent across all stations from February 1, 2016. The rate hike, the company claims, comes in the wake of Fever FM's growth in listenership.

Talking about the development, Harshad Jain, CEO - radio and entertainment, HT Media, says, "Fever FM has been consistently displaying promising growth and establishing new milestones. The increase in price is in the backdrop of Fever's rapid growth in listenership. It has the highest Time Share Listening (TSL) in all its markets, its highest market share being in Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata. It is the fastest-growing radio station in Mumbai."

Jain says that Fever continues its leadership across markets in its core target group of 20-34 years SEC AB. "We look forward to partner our clients and offer them great value, and the unique Fever advantage," he says.

Fever FM, operated by HT Media, is available in Delhi (since October '06), Mumbai (since January '07), Bengaluru (since March '07), Kolkata (January '08), and Chennai (October '15). It has a reach of more than 17.5 million listeners across the four Indian metros it operates in.

The results of the FM Phase III Radio e-auction were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on September 16, 2015. Fever FM was the biggest investor with an outlay of Rs 340 crore for 10 licenses. Along with this, the FM channel also plans to expand its presence from four cities to 13 cities with 15 licenses.
