Mudra rocks at the M.A.D Quiz

At the Marketing and Advertising Quiz organised by the Advertising Club of Mumbai, Mudra bagged the M.A.D Quiz award

It was an evening when the brand recall power of the advertising fraternity was put to the acid test. At the Marketing and Advertising Quiz organised by the Advertising Club of Mumbai, the team from Mudra, consisting of creative group head Rahul Ghosh and corporate manager Aditya Kanthy, stole the thunder. The runner’s-up trophy was picked up by the team from Madison.

Under the tactical quizzing of Derek O’Brien, the final round saw six teams contesting, including those from Mudra, Madison, JWT, Ogilvy and Mather, the joint team of SBI and Sun Micro System and STAR India. JWT and STAR India got eliminated in the first round. O&M and SBI and Sun Micro System were bowled out in the second round.

The mega finals were held between Mudra and Madison and culminated in a tie. Then came the tie-breaker question: ‘If Sourav Ganguly decides to quit cricket, he can join his family business. What is his family business?’ Mudra managed to hit the buzzer in time and Ghosh replied promptly, “Printing”, the answer that decided the fate of the quiz and the two teams.

The presenting sponsor for the event was Radio Mirchi and the associate sponsor was Hutch. The event was held at the IDBI Lawns, Mumbai, on December 16.
