Viral Pandya, ex-creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi-Delhi, starts his own venture

Pandya is attempting to do something that will be purely creative

Tired of recycled ideas and cliched advertising, Viral Pandya, ex-creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi, has decided to tread a path that will be purely creative. Pandya has started his own venture, Out of the Box. True to its name, the agency will deal purely in ideas.

Pandya says, “This is a venture that will focus on out and out creative work. If a client is looking for ideas, Out of the Box will be the one-stop shop for them. It is not just about advertising, but also about brand building.”

He adds, “The only parameter for us to work with a client is that he/ she should be looking for innovative and creative solutions. I can assure you that the work that will roll out from our agency will be at par and even above the standards of work that is churned out from many agencies.”

The agency has already bagged some prestigious clients who are looking at relevant yet extraordinary advertising. Among its clients are Mother’s Pride (a pre-school for kids), Clara International (a beauty training and academic clinic), Sparsh (an NGO) and SM Store.

For the record, in his career spanning 15 years, Pandya first worked with Mudra and Interact Vision between 1991 and 1995. He then moved to Saatchi & Saatchi and was with them for a long while, though he moved out briefly in between to work with Grey Worldwide in 2003-04. He rejoined Saatchi & Saatchi in April 2004.

Pandya has worked for brands such as Mother Dairy and Hyundai brands such as Getz, Santro and Elantra.
