HUL’s Sanjiv Mehta elevated as President, South Asia, Unilever and Member of Unilever Leadership Executive

Unilever announced the elevation of Hindustan Unilever's Chairman and Managing Director, Sanjiv Mehta as President of Unilever, South Asia. He will also be a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive (ULE). The change in his respective role will be effective from May 1, 2019. Sanjiv will continue as Chairman and Managing Director of HUL.

Nitin Paranjpe, President, Foods & Refreshment, has been appointed to the new role of Chief Operating Officer. In his role he will be responsible for all of Unilever’s go-to-market organisations, driving and co-ordinating in-year performance across our countries in line with our Divisional strategies.
