At the recently concluded WARC Awards 2018, McCann Worldgroup India went on to win five awards, which was the most awarded Indian agency at this year's event. The agency won two Gold, one Silver and two Bronze awards.
McCann's first Gold award came in the Innovation category for its campaign for IDFC - Bank in a Box. The second Gold was for the Effective use of Brand Purpose for Paytm - Helping India Cope with the Death of Cash.
The agency won a Silver award in the Content category for Live Love Laugh Foundation's Ask Again campaign. The first of the two Bronze awards was won in the same category for i-can's Fair Sex Fair Say campaign. The second Bronze award was won in Purpose category for Reebok's Girls Do(n't) Fight campaign.
Commenting on the win Prasoon Joshi, chairman of McCann Asia Pacific and chief executive officer and chief creative officer India, McCann Worldgroup India, says in a press release, "We at McCann Worldgroup India take immense pride in creating solutions which are strategically sound and have great craft. These work are a testimony of our belief which strikes the chord with the target audience "
Havas Worldwide won a Silver award for Durex Jeans' Condom or Denim campaign in Social category. Triton Communications won a Silver for Aquaguard's An ocean of good campaign. In the Innovation category, The Womb won a Silver for Carvaan's So how about creating viral products instead? campaign.
Taproot Dentsu won a Bronze award for adidas India's Odds campaign under Innovation category.
