FCB Ulka’s Amee Sanghvi joins Mudra as creative director

During her stint at FCB Ulka, Sanghvi was a creative consultant on brands such as Zodiac, ZOD!, Amul, ITC and Zee TV. At Mudra, she will report to Ryan Menezes, the agency’s national creative director

Amee Sanghvi, creative consultant, FCB Ulka, has moved on to join Mudra, Mumbai, as creative director. She will report to Ryan Menezes, the agency’s national creative director. At Ulka, Sanghvi worked on the art side of things, on brands such as Zodiac, ZOD!, Amul, ITC and Zee TV.

Commenting on her move, Sanghvi remarks, “This was a right career opportunity that came at the right time. My role at Mudra is broader and far more challenging and promises a new chapter of growth in my career.”

Sanghvi brings with her 11 years of experience in the advertising industry. She started off as a visualiser with Leo Burnett in 1995 and, while there, she worked on Coca-Cola and Bajaj. Her work for Coca-Cola was featured in the Archives and was a finalist at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival.

She moved on to O&M to handle Pond’s and Pears. She later handled the Taj Group of Hotels and Telco at Rediffusion DY&R, after which she joined Triton. For the past two and a half years, Sanghvi has been with FCB Ulka.

Her mandate will be to ensure greater visibility of work at Mudra and ‘stir up’ the agency’s creative work. She will handle all the Reliance brands at Mudra.

Menezes comments, “We were on the lookout for someone with a good sense of art and quite a few years of experience. We found that in Sanghvi.”

Sanghvi’s most challenging project till date has been the logo change of Zee TV while she was at FCB Ulka. “It was a big challenge to convince the client to change his mindset and adapt to the new look and feel which we felt were quite necessary for Zee TV,” she recalls.
