Marico's Sameer Satpathy joins ITC

He has been appointed as chief operating officer, ITC personal care.

Sameer Satpathy, the former chief marketing officer (CMO) of Marico, has joined ITC, confirmed an official spokesperson from the company. Satpathy has been appointed as chief operating officer of ITC's personal care business. He joined the company on December 1.

Although Marico announced Satpathy's resignation in July this year, he continued office as the CMO of the company until September 15, to facilitate a seamless transition for his successor Anuradha Aggarwal, who took charge on August 24.

Satpathy joined Marico in 2002, and has spent over a decade in various positions in the company. With more than 19 years of experience in marketing, sales and operations, he has the expertise in building brands and market leadership across key categories such as haircare, skincare, foods, paints, and fabric care.

A Harvard Business School alumnus, Satpathy has also worked with Berger Paints.
